Lake Somerville is located on the Burleson, Washington, and Lee County Lines with the City of Somerville, Texas on its eastern end of the reservoir.

Lake Somerville is covers approximately 17.9 square miles and is located about 20 miles South of Caldwell off State Highway 36.
