LIBRARY REOPENING MAY 11 (LIMITING CAPACITY)

The Harrie P. Woodson Memorial Library is reopening its doors on Monday, May 11, 2020. With the continued concern for COVID-19 we ask for your patience as other services will begin once more information is available. Please continue to use safety measures, because keeping our patrons and employees healthy and safe is our number one priority. 

Beginning Monday, the following services will be offered: 

Checkout Materials using curbside  

Checkout Materials inside 

  • The Library will have one door for entrance and one for exit.  
  • There will be a limit of 10 patrons in library at any given time.  
  • When a patron comes in, they will have approximately 15 minutes inside.  
  • Please where a mask before entering the library. 
  • Hand Sanitizer will be available at the door for any patron who comes in or out will be highly recommended to use.  
  • The non-fiction section can be accessed upon request. 
  • The book sale, restrooms, and computers will not be accessible at this time, due to the inability to sanitize the facility between each patron use. 
  • Free books are upon leaving the library. 

Copies, Faxes, Scanning, and Emailing (EXACT CHANGE ONLY) 

Rates are listed below: 

COPIES: 

  • 8.5 x 11 (letter size) – $0.20 each or $0.25 front & back 
  • 8.5 x 14 (legal size) – $0.25 each or $0.30 front & back 

FAX: 

  • To Send: $1.00 each page 
  • To Receive: $1.00 first page and $0.20 each page after 

SCANNING OR E-MAILING: 

  • 1-5 pages: $1.00 
  • 6-10 pages: $2.00, etc.

CALDWELL KEEPS ON READING!

While the City of Caldwell’s Harrie P. Woodson Memorial Library is closed to the public during this unforeseen circumstance, we are proud to announce that as of Wednesday, March 18, 2020 the Library is beginning a Curbside Service for the Caldwell community.

Hours for curbside pick up will be during normal hours 9AM – 6PM Monday – Friday, but will be closed during lunch.

If you or your child would like to checkout a book or movie from the library you can do so by:

  1. Accessing the online Card Catalog at caldwell.biblionix.com/catalog/
    • Login to your account:
      • Username is your Entire Card Number (if you know it)
      • Password is your 10 digit phone number
    • Then reserve the resources you would like to checkout.
  2. If you do not have an account for the online card catalog, please call 979-567-4111 and we will be happy to help you over the phone.
  3. After you reserve the resources you would like to checkout either online or by phone, please allow 15 minutes for our staff to pull, checkout and prepare your materials.
  4. When you arrive at the library please pull up to the front door and honk. Your resources will be available for you to pick up off the bench by the main entrance to the library.
  5. When returning your resource materials to the library please use the Dropbox next to the main entrance of the library.
