Through partnerships, community involvement, and coordinated improvement efforts, the program supports a vibrant and sustainable downtown.
Main Street Approach
The Caldwell Main Street Program follows the National Main Street Four-Point Approach, a framework for downtown revitalization that focuses on four interconnected areas:
Economic Vitality: Supporting existing businesses, encouraging entrepreneurship, attracting investment, and strengthening the downtown economy.
Design: Preserving historic buildings, improving public spaces, and enhancing downtown's physical appearance and character.
Promotion: Highlighting downtown businesses, events, attractions, and activities that bring residents and visitors into the district.
Organization: Building partnerships, encouraging community involvement, and coordinating resources to support long-term revitalization.
